Yesterday, Tesla CEO Elon Musk went from eccentric to full blown deranged, calling one of the divers that helped rescue the Thai boys from the cave system a ¡°pedo guy¡±. Now he might just be getting sued for it.
Vernon Unsworth was part of the diving team that was instrumental in the rescue of the teenagers and their football coach, trapped in a cave in Thailand by rising water levels. When he heard about Musk¡¯s attempts to build a tiny submarine to transport the boys out, he declared it useless, like many others. In addition, he also called it a shameless publicity stunt.
Musk was so irate at the accusations that, in a Twitter rant that¡¯s since been deleted, he demanded that Unsworth show the final rescue video and prove his submarine wouldn¡¯t have worked. He followed that up with, ¡°You know what, don't bother showing the video. We will make one of the mini-sub/pod going all the way to Cave 5 no problemo. Sorry pedo guy, you really did ask for it.¡±
Of course, Musk didn¡¯t offer any sort of evidence or justification for the accusations, instead merely saying, ¡°Bet ya a signed dollar it's true.¡± Of course, that¡¯s now prime evidence for a libel case against Musk.?

Unsworth, 63, who is a British native, told The Guardian that Musk¡¯s uncouth remarks were an attack on not just him but the entire rescue team. He¡¯s even stated the matter is ¡°not finished¡±, and he plans to pursue legal action when he flies back to his home in the UK.
¡°He's just a PR stunt merchant, that's all he is,¡± Unsworth declared.
