Vint Cerf was instrumental in creating the modern internet, working with UCLA. He developed packet switching for ARPANET under Leonard Kleinrock as well as TCP/IP protocols with ARPA -- the skeleton on which our internet functions today.
He has also served six years on the US government's National Science Board. Currently, he is serving as VP of research at Google, since 2005 and has also been awarded several times for his work in the field of tech.?
