Now, citizens of India can update their residential address on their Aadhaar cards without running from pillar to post. Starting August 27, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), which is responsible for all-things-Aadhaar let citizens update their address by simply furnishing certain documents on the website self-service portal.?
The Aadhaar includes important details of citizens including full name, permanent address, date of birth, all linked to a unique 12-digit number which is issued by UIDAI.?
