We know how Facebook was started by Mark Zuckerberg in his dorm room, and how it revolutionised social networking and the internet as we know it today. In a conversation with MIT computer scientist Lex Fridman, Zuckerberg reveals a few pieces of advice for young people starting college.?

Reported first by CNBC, Zuckerberg said that when someone is in college, the most important decision they can make is who they spend time with.?
He said, ¡°You become the people you surround yourself with. I think probably people are too, in general, objective focussed, and maybe not focussed enough on the connections and the people who they're basically building relationships with.¡±
When asked about how he picks his staff, Zuckerberg reveals that he tries to prioritise relationships over objectives. While evaluating a candidate for a job, he actually imagines what it would be like working under such an individual, instead of seeing them as his employee.
He said, ¡°I will only hire someone to work for me if I could see myself working for them.¡± the reason he does that is that it helps in fostering an environment that¡¯s more productive.?

According to Zuckerberg, finding personal compatibility is crucial as goals are better achieved together if you¡¯re working with individuals who share your values on a human level.
