China has dominated exports world over when it comes to electronics, machinery and various other fields. Well,?the country is far from done with exports. After all the essentials, China will now be bringing a dragonfly to the US. No, this is not the dragonfly you have known, as this one comes with a 296 kW backup delivering a cool 402 HP.
Qiantu, Chinese for dragonfly, is ready to bring the first-ever Chinese super electric vehicle to the US roads. In partnership with Mullen Technologies from California, the Chinese carmaker will be hitting the country¡¯s market with its K50 soon.?
The partnership between CH-Auto (Qiantu¡¯s parent company) and Mullen Technologies will see the assembling of the K50 in the US for sales in North America. The car, which underwent testing for two straight years, was finally showcased at the Shanghai Auto Expo last year. Since then, assumptions of it entering the US market have been doing the rounds.?

Mullen has also acquired a manufacturing unit and the technology to assemble the K50 in North America to accomplish this goal. The Chinese super electric car is expected to be available in the US by 2020. If all goes as planned by Mullen, its expertise as an international distributor and Mullen Auto Sales and CarHub?- a digital platform owned by Mullen - will help with the sales of the car.?
As for the car, the Qiantu K50 is based on an aluminium frame with carbon fibre body parts and is powered by a couple of motors, one on each axle. The resulting output is 408 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque. As per the company, the K50 can accelerate to 100 kmph in 4.6 seconds and has a 300 km range. Inside, it comes with a 15.6-inch touchscreen and liquid-crystal instrument panel.?
