For Tesla lovers who love some bling, Caviar has made an even more expensive version of the Tesla Model S with 24 karat gold-plated accent parts that make it look nothing like the original car.?
To the unaware, the Russian luxury brand is known to create limited-edition variants of iPhones that involve the use of expensive materials like titanium or elements of rare memorabilia. However, this is the first time they're adding their special sauce to a Tesla
Coming back to the Tesla, which has been named ¡®The Model Excellence¡¯, the rear and front bumpers, side skirts, discs and rearview mirrors are coated with 24 karat gold of the ¡°highest standard¡± using the double electroplated technique.
The bonnet and rear bumper also get an eye-catching Caviar gold crown. Right under the tail light, the car is numbered to showcase its limited-edition status.?
The bling and accent units don¡¯t come cheap. The aesthetic upgrade is only available on the topmost Tesla Model S -- the Plaid variant and costs a whopping $299,000. To put things into perspective, regular non-blingy Plaid variant costs around $127,590.
Along with this, Caviar has also introduced two new iPhone variants -- iPhone 12 Pros inspired by the Tesla Model S. They're made using aerospace-grade titanium with smooth curves to remind of the beautifully designed Model S. The special-edition iPhones are priced starting at $6,150.
Both the car as well as the iPhone are limited editions, with only 99 units to be made.
