Yesterday was America¡¯s Independence Day and while the whole nation was busy celebrating the festivities, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg celebrated it in the strangest possible way.?

Zuckerberg waved the American flag while riding an electric surfboard as the sunset behind him. The video shared by Zuckerberg on his social media platform with John Denver¡¯s West Virginia playing in the background.?
According to a Business Insider report, the surfboard appears to be by Lift Foils. Founded by Nick Leason, he¡¯s revealed that Zuckerberg owns a few surfboards of the brand and the e-foil board that¡¯s in the video actually costs a good $12,000.?
These celebrations come right after Facebook crossed $1 trillion in market value after an FTC antitrust case against it was dismissed by the court on the grounds that FTC couldn¡¯t prove the social media brand¡¯s monopoly.?

Looking at Zuckerberg surfing with the American flag like a boss did not go down well with people on Twitter.?
Some, like always, tried making fun of the billionaire CEO for his antics.

While some just thought it was a max-level cringe that nobody wanted to see.
If this was in any way an attempt to make Mark Zuckerberg more endearing for the common public, it's safe to assume it was an awkward one at best. We were just glad Zuckerberg didn't accidentally fall and injure himself, because he didn't look at all comfortable on the electric surfboard. This is probably the second most uncomfortable we've ever seen Mark Zuckerberg in a public setting, after of course his 2018 US Senate Hearing where Zuckerberg looked more robot than human, remember?
