Tomorrow, India is going to witness the decade¡¯s final solar eclipse and it is going to be a big one. This one is going to be an annular solar eclipse and will also show the ¡®red ring of fire¡¯. The eclipse will commence at 8:00 AM IST. The moon will slowly slide into the trajectory of the sun from the western edge and will attain a full-eclipse stage by 9:30 AM IST. The eclipse is expected to conclude by 11:16 AM IST.?

It is highly inadvisable to go looking at an eclipse with naked eyes as it can result in severe damage and can also cause blindness. If you don't wish to miss the fun, we recommend that you look at it through eclipse glasses or a dark welder's glass of #14 or darker.??
Also, if you have a telescope at home, you could also view it using a solar eclipse filter that gets attached to the lens of the telescope for safe viewing. Don't use sunglasses, whether polarised or otherwise, as they're no good in combating the harmful sun rays.
