After looking at pictures from the James Webb Space Telescope, many people seem to have forgotten about the legendary Hubble Space Telescope.
Even though Hubble might be nearing the end of its life cycle soon, it is still delivering stunning views of the universe to us. Now, Hubble's new photo shows off a photo of the Terzan 1 cluster.
This image was released by NASA and ESA on October 10. It shows a globular cluster situated about 22,000 light-years from Earth. One can see thousands of stars in amazing clarity in the image.
Hubble has clicked Terzan 1 before in 2015. But that image was clicked by Hubble's Wide Field Planetary Camera 2, which was operational till 2009.

It had a lower resolution than Hubble's current camera, the Wide Field Camera 3, which was installed during the last servicing mission of Hubble.
The new image is able to show the globular cluster in details unlike before. Globular clusters are usually collections of hundreds of thousands of stars closely packed in a tight almost spherical shape. In fact, these stars are packed so tightly that the distance between each of them is about a single light-year.

The red stars in this picture are the oldest stars in our galaxy. The bluer stars in the image are younger stars that are in the foreground and not necessarily part of the cluster.
