The K-pop genre of music has surely made a place for itself in the West, although Americans couldn't quite handle it and had to box it into the "K-pop" award section. Despite that, numerous acts from South Korea have managed to steal the spotlight over the years, and it was no different at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs).
On Thursday, December 12, the 2024 BBMAs celebrated a host of artists for their achievements during the past tracking year and several K-pop idols received nominations across various categories, including K-pop-specific awards, with some delivering captivating performances during the event. Here are all the winners from the night!

Among the K-pop stars present were Stray Kids, who became the first performers of the night, dazzling the audience with "CHK CHK BOOM" and "JJAM."?
SEVENTEEN also took the stage, delivering an electrifying performance of "Love, Money, Fame (feat. DJ Khalid)" at the iconic Santa Monica Pier.
Due to his military enlistment, the BTS maknae (youngest member) was unable to attend the ceremony held on December 12 in the United States. Despite his absence, he maintained his status as one of K-pop's leading artists. In 2023 too, he won the Top Global K-pop Song award for SEVEN, the pre-release track from his debut solo album, "GOLDEN".
