Forest Rangers Blast Black Sabbath Song 'Iron Man' To Get Bear Out Of Tree - But Did It Work?

Black bears can be stubborn creatures, especially when searching for food. One such bear found itself high up in a tree in a neighbourhood in Golden, Colorado, in the U.S. But what the forest rangers did next makes this story every bit unique. Fearing for the bear's safety, they flew their drone close to the tree and blasted Black Sabbath’s 'Iron Man' in hopes it would slowly climb down. But did it work? Let's find out.

A black bear stuck on a tree and Black Sabbath blaring from a done - how does that happen? Well, it did in this Colorado neighbourhood.?According to Fox Weather, forest?rangers with Colorado Parks and Wildlife Northeast Region arrived at the scene to find that the bear had come after trash that was left out overnight. It then climbed the tree and staying true to his nature, refused to come down.

"While slightly annoyed by the drone, we decide to use music blasted at the bear,"?CPW NE Region,?the official account of Colorado Parks and Wildlife — Northeast Region captioned their post on X.

“When you’re out on a bear stakeout, you think it’s going to be all action,” wildlife officials wrote on X. “You never think you’re going to spend at least six hours in a car waiting on a bear to stop sleeping and climb down from a tree. And yet...”

Matters seemed to progress when the bear grudgingly sauntered off the tree only to rush to another when officials tried to herd him to a space away from the houses. That is when they flew a drone they borrowed from the local police department and blared Black Sabbath's 'Iron Man.' But Ozzy Osbourne couldn't work his magic on the bear who stayed put.?

It was night when the bear decided to come down. “We wait until nighttime and the bear finally comes down when almost all humans are gone.”
