YouTuber Martin 'FaZe Censor' Douglas recently posted a video to announce that he has ended his relationship with his girlfriend Yanet Garcia, also known as the 'World's Sexiest Weather Girl', to focus on playing Call Of Duty.
It may sound like a bizarre reason for a breakup, but if you watch the video he put up, you will find that it seems to be a classic case of two lovely people separating to concentrate on their careers. In the video, 23-year-old Douglas explains what lead to their breakup:
'Yanet and I are no longer in a relationship with each other anymore...'
He talked about the sweet beginning of their relationship and recounted how he had flown all the way from New York to Mexico, where Yanet lives, three years ago. Sparks flew and two decided to move in together. For this, Yanet had moved to New York to be with her man.
Douglas revealed that things changed when Yanet took the step of moving back to Mexico in order to focus on her career as a weather girl and model. But that isn't when the couple decided to separate. They had planned on giving their long-distance relationship a shot. Talking about it, Douglas said:
"I supported her decision...She wanted to be a supermodel actress - chase your dreams, life's too short...I'm playing Call of Duty full-time now and she wanted to take her job opportunity. I didn't think it was going to be that difficult."
?
But in the past three years, both of them grew professionally and this brought more responsibilities. Hence, Douglas found it difficult to manage the relationship given the distance the second time around:
"Back then it was a lot easier for me to go out and see her,' he said. 'But now I have obligations...I'm on a contract. It's not like I don't want to do this, this is the career that I want."
?
Douglas said that he had to come to a point, where he had to choose between the two and his career came first for him. Talking about his passion for the video game Call Of Duty, he said:
"I want to win a ring, I want to win a world championship, what I want in my life at this very moment is to compete in Call of Duty because I love it so much...I'm going to do whatever it takes to be a champion.'

Garcia, who is pretty active on social media and has a number of followers, tweeted that she was heartbroken. Later, she also thanked everybody for their support through the tough time.

On her Twitter feed, she even retweeted a tweet that talked about respecting yourself enough to know you deserve better. We hope both of them go on to achieve their dreams while battling all the emotions they might be feeling right now.
