In a fascinating incident, an Arkansas resident has sued a Las Vegas dancer based on a claim that she had cheated him for a decade only to gain profits from their relationship.
Fred Brunner, who lives in Washington County, Arkansas, has sought $38.5 million in damages for what he calls an "extensive, fraudulent scheme" put together by the dancer.
Based on court documents, it has been revealed that Brunner had his first encounter with the woman while he was on a trip to Vegas in 2014. During that period, Brunner was looking for some respite at a gentlemen's club.
As per the lawsuit, Brunner, who was visibly wealthier than the club's regular clientele, immediately caught the attention of the dancer.?"She made a significant amount of money from" Brunner on their first encounter, as alleged in the court filings.
The dancer reportedly thought that Brunner's fortune presented an opportunity for her to significantly better her life. Brunner says she tricked him into believing they were in a loving, exclusive relationship for the next ten years.
During this period, she allegedly accepted a house and numerous trips, all funded by Brunner. The plaintiff asserts that he provided financial support to the dancer at "her specific request."
According to Brunner, he spent over $35 million on his connection with the dancer, and she took home about $3 million. The lawsuit asserts that she was in fact associated with another man in Las Vegas, despite her promises of exclusivity. Attorneys for Brunner contend that this unnamed man received a portion of the funds he gave.
