Recently, a thrilling anecdote about BTS's Kim Taehyung, aka V, who is a part of the Special Defense Team (SDT) of the 2nd Corps Military Unit, has sent the fandom into a frenzy.
Taehyung's military service has been quite the talking point among fans and media alike. As reported, he has been serving in the military since last year and has been keeping a low profile. However, his dedication to his service has not gone unnoticed, with many praising his commitment to his country.
Recently, a member of the SDT shared a thrilling story about encountering Taehyung during a helicopter training session last year. The eyewitness account reveals that Taehyung was spotted in action, showcasing his skills and dedication during the intense training exercise. And while he was at it, he also looked in his black uniform, the SDT member added.
?Notably, last year it was reported that Taehyung filmed a promotional video for the 2nd corps during helicopter training, with the slogan "Every time you shoot, you hit the mark 'Dignity.'"
Kim Taehyung successfully completed a rigorous winter military training program last month that took place from January 6th to 17th. The training was held in extremely cold conditions, with temperatures dropping as low as -20¡ãC, pushing the soldiers to their limits.
On the final day of the training, the Rainy Days singer and his fellow comrades were tasked with a challenging 40-kilometer march while carrying heavy equipment that weighed between 25 kg and 40 kg. Despite the harsh conditions, Taehyung demonstrated his strength and endurance, completing the significant milestone in his military service.
In viral clips posted on social media, the Winter Bear crooner?was seen happily posing with his military friends and also updated ARMYs about his well-being with Instagram stories.
BTS members RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, who enlisted in December 2023, are all set to return home in four months after completing their mandatory military service. The quartet will reunite with their fellow BTS members Jin, Suga, and J-Hope.?
