IIT Madras:?India is all set to bring an advancement in the transportation systems with this first hyperloop test track. This will surely revolutionise the Indian transport scenario with its high-speed transportation system. This prominent project, funded by the Ministry of Railways, was built at the IIT Madras Campus.?
Did you know? Hyperloop track is also referred to as the ¡°5th mode of transportation¡±.
Hyperloop is going to be an enticing game changer; it is an enticing futuristic technology in which a high-speed train travels in a special vacuum. With the help of this Hyperloop system, trains will now run at a speed of 1,100 km/hr. In comparison, the maximum speed of a bullet train is 450 km/h.
?So, this is most definitely going to change the transportation industry dynamics. And, with the help of this technology, passengers will complete their journey of 350 km in only 30 minutes. In short, passengers can travel from Delhi to Jaipur in less than half an hour (approximately 300 km).
Below are the notable enticing features of the Hyperloop track developed by IIT Madras:

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw shared his enchanting views via an X.com (Twitter) post; he wrote, "Government-academia collaboration is driving innovation in futuristic transportation."
The Ministry of Railways provided funding for the project, which was constructed on the campus of IIT Madras. Mr. Vaishnaw expressed his excitement over the outcome, saying, "The first 422-meter pod will significantly advance technology. I believe the moment has arrived for IIT Madras to receive a third grant of one million dollars to further the hyperloop project, following the initial two grants of one million dollars each."
The hyperloop track trial will begin soon, as per its positive development report. If this trial positively succeeds, then this advanced technology will soon be implemented on a large scale in our country, ¡°India¡±.?
