In the last decade or so,?social media has gone from being?an entertaining extra?to a fully integrated part of nearly every aspect of daily life for many. From children to adults, use various social media apps to stay engaged. But it appears animals are no different.?
A video is going viral showing monkeys using social media and even scrolling through on a page.?
In the now-viral clip, a?man holding the phone while two monkeys appear to be quite engrossed in it. A third, not wanting?to be left out, also joins in to get a view of the screen.?While the monkeys were looking at the screen, one of them was also holding the phone and scrolling?through a social media account. In the meanwhile, another small monkey is pulling the elderly monkey to get its attention and to divert it from the gadget.
The video, which first went viral last year, has resurfaced again?after being shared?on Twitter.?
¡°Craze of social media," the video is captioned.?
The clip has garnered more than 1.6 lakh views and over 4,000 likes. It has also racked up tons of reactions.
Monkeys are smarter than we give them credit for. Earlier in June, an injured monkey visited a clinic in Bihar's Sasaram to get her wounds treated.
A viral video showed a female?monkey, holding its baby to its chest while being treated at the clinic of Dr S.M. Ahmed in the Shahjuma locality.?As the news spread in the town, people flocked to the clinic to get a glimpse of the primate.?
The doctor said that he understood the monkey was injured and he signalled it to come inside the clinic, according to?IANS.?
The female?monkey?understood what the doctor was trying to convey, and climbed on the bench and showed its wound.?She had a scar on her head, while the baby had injuries on its leg.????
Dr Ahmed administered a tetanus injection and also spread ointment on the wounds of both the monkeys.?After treating both the monkeys, the?doctor?asked the crowd to disperse so that she could leave the premises unhindered.??
In another instance last year, a? video of an injured langur standing at the entrance of a hospital in Karnataka seemingly seeking 'treatment' had gone viral.?
In the video, the langur was seen patiently sitting outside Patil Hospital in Dandeli. Moments later, a staff member of the medical centre was seen helping the animal, cleaning its wounds and applying medicine in the affected area.??
