As An Intense Heatwave Sweeps India, Here Are The Hottest Cities In The Country

The heatwave has intensified in most of the northern states of India. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that the conditions will persist in Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha, till May 28. With 47.5 degrees Celsius, Rajasthan’s Churu was the hottest city across the country, on Monday. Here are other cities that are experiencing the worst of the heat:

Churu in Rajasthan: 47.5° Celsius
