Thunberg who has turned into one of the most compelling voices on the issue of climate change has made sure the message is driven across boundaries.?
Millions of students globally took part in her 'Fridays for the Future' movement calling for global awareness on the issue.

Four years ago, the 16-year-old was diagnosed with Asperger's, a form of autism. But nothing dampened her spirit. In a recenrt interview with TOI, Thunberg, thanked Indian school students for becoming a part of such a big movement.
"Those who aren¡¯t striking, they should read about this climate crisis and see what is going on, and then they need to hold the older generation accountable," she said.?
She also had a very important message for PM Narendra Modi: "Take this seriously and act. Otherwise in the future you will not be taken seriously," she said with vehemence. Thunberg slammed India for emitting a lot of greenhouse gases since it has a big population and possessES dirty coal.
"The most important thing everyone needs to do right now is to read and educate yourself. You will understand what you have to do. I am just a child, just a messenger."
