Nature can be quite terrifying and a now-viral video of a tornado is proving the same.
The horrifying clip was captured on camera in a town in Kentucky. CNN anchor Fredericka Whitfield spoke to Eddie Knight, the person who filmed the hair-rising moments the tornado was lit by lightning strikes.?
¡°Well, we¡¯ve been watching storms all night¡ I kind of watched this one coming up on the radar weather a little bit and noticed it was getting really bad,¡± Knight told Fredericka.
¡°I heard a noise and got out on the front porch and started looking towards the noise. And then I saw it," he added.
Knight also said that he shot the video because he thought it was coming right towards him, luckily, it missed him. However, his neighbours up the road were affected by the natural disaster.?
Knight said that he ¡°didn¡¯t really feel the air pressure drop¡± until he was in the basement of his home.?
At least 79 people have been reported dead after 18 tornadoes hit the US since Saturday. It is said to be the most dangerous tornado Kentucky has ever witnessed.?
Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear warned that the death toll could exceed 100, but later said it might be closer to 50. Two of his own relatives are among the people who lost their lives.
¡°We are still hoping for miracles,¡± Beshear told ABC News.
¡°We are finding people, and every single moment is incredible," he said.?
?States such as Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Tennessee have also been affected by tornadoes.???
