There are a few souls in the world who live with no fear and this man is the perfect example of the same. A video, that has now gone viral on social media, shows him carrying a giant python on his shoulders. Needless to say, the viral video has left netizens stunned.?
The video was posted on Instagram by the user @hepgul5. It also appears like it was possibly shot at a zoo.
The person recording the video was at a safe distance due to the snake's giant body. The zookeeper carries the python on his shoulder as if it's his daily routine. The python is seen ducking its head to avoid hitting the tall enclosures on the way.
So, if you have ever been scared of snakes like most people are, this one will make you want to look away. The video has gone viral on Instagram, garnering more than 2.7 lakh views and over 8,500 likes. Netizens said that the man carrying the python if it was no big deal. But the image made them feel uneasy.
Though, this image and the fact the giant reptile was being handled by a professional apparently easily doesn't mean these dangerous animals should be taken lightly. A few months ago - July 2021 - a?28-year old man named Mohammad Shaikh died after being bitten by a snake while he was playing with it by wrapping the reptile around his neck in Maharashtra's Thane district.
While all of this was happening Mohammad's friends recorded his act on their mobile phones, but did not stop him, and posted the clip on social media.?Later, the man complained of uneasiness and was rushed to a civic hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.?
The Mumbra police had registered a case of accidental death and sent the body for postmortem to a government hospital in Thane.
It is always advised to stay away from predators like snakes unless you have professional training in handling the same. Even if you have the expertise, you need to be extra careful since snakes can be unpredictable. So, unless you know what you are doing, stay away from the reptiles and do not use them for social media clout.
