Is Fortnite down? This is the question that everyone is asking about on social media. The Fortnite experience created significant outrage on Wednesday, April 3, as Downdetector reported that nearly 7000 users in the United States are facing severe glitches.
However, this is not the first time, as some users reported similar issues on April 2, which also took over social media. One Wednesday morning, many users took to social media to share the same.
The game is suffering from another outage on April 2nd and 3rd, and players are struggling to update the game, with modes not appearing for players. This means that players can't find matches, and whatever Epic Games did before, the game didn't take it.
According to recent reports on Downdetector, around 3000 users have claimed an outage issue, and this outage is affecting the games on various platforms, so it is not just one service that is not working. On the other hand, so far Epic Games has yet to acknowledge the problems faced by players.
As per the last update on their status pages, note that they are investigating the crashes relating to NVIDIA GPUs when using DirectX 12 rendering.
Additionally, the report also says that the developers will come with an update soon, though the issue is not going to be resolved anytime soon.
As soon as the players started facing the issues on the game, they addressed it on X (formerly called Twitter), and one user said, "FORTNITE IS DEAD... AGAIN.. ?"
"It better not be 12 hours this time," another said.
"I called in from work just to play. ?"
While some thought, it can be due to April fool's day, "AGAIN?! This is a sick April Fools' Day joke and a day late, at that! ?"
Another noted, "They’re getting ready for the princess to arrive ???? they have to prepare for the greatness."
One jokingly wrote, "Epic didn't pay their tariffs."
