Garima Abrol, the wife of martyred squadron leader Samir Abrol, in a heartbreaking post demanded answers from the government.
She wrote, 'How many more of these pilots have to give up their life to shake you up and make you realise there is something really wrong in the system?' with the hashtag #lostpilots.
Garima¡¯s post came days after squadron leader Samir Abrol and squadron leader Siddharth Negi lost their lives in the Mirage 2000 aircraft crash. They were test-flying the aircraft when it crashed at the HAL Airport in Bengaluru on February 1.
Garima in her post raised an important issue by asking how many more pilots have to die for the?government to realise that something is really wrong with the system. While saying that she remembered her husband as a 'proud Indian' and how she loved to send her husband 'off to serve the nation with a morning cup of tea and a head held high.'
Garima noted that a pilot¡¯s life is full of struggles and that a person has to work hard for years to become a pilot.
In the end, she wrote 'I do not want any other sister of the Armed Force family to suffer the pain that I am going through. Words can¡¯t describe how painful it is out here alone without my better half, my BATMAN'.

About a week ago, Samir Abrol's brother, Sushant Abrol also penned down a touching poem slamming poor state of fighter jets of the country. It is sad and disheartening to see so many brave, young people lose their lives because people higher up in the hierarchy are callous.
