Born in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, Arti Dogra is just?3.5 feet tall. She is the daughter of Colonel Rajendra and Kumkum Dogra who is a school principal. Arti Dogra¡¯s parents had supported her in every aspect of life.
When Arti was born, the doctors said that she wouldn¡¯t be able to attend a normal school but beating all the odds, Dogra attended a prestigious Girls¡¯ School in Dehradun and graduated in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University.
Facing physical discrimination since childhood Aarti Dogra never put off her spirits and she went on to crack the civil services exam in the first attempt.

Arti Dogra cleared her civil services exam in her first-ever attempt in 2005 with an AIR-56. She is from the Rajasthan cadre 2006 batch. And from there on, her journey as a dedicated public servant started. She has served in various positions in the Rajasthan government since then.
Arti Dogra was the first-ever female IAS officer to serve as the managing director (MD) of Discom (Distribution Company) Jodhpur-Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd.
From the beginning of her career in administration, Arti Dogra made headlines, first because of her height and later because of her effective campaigns and performance.
As the District Collector of Bikaner, Aarti launched the ¡®Banko Bikano¡¯ Campaign to create an open defecation free society. The Swacchhata mission was focused on behavioural and mindset change in people. Her work was not only recognised by the state government but also garnered applause from Prime Minister Modi.
She also launched other schemes like Mission against Anaemia and ¡®Maa¡¯. While she was the DM of Bikaner, she launched the programme, Doctors for Daughters, where she encouraged doctors to adopt orphan, poor, and helpless girl children born in their own hospitals.?
As the collector of Ajmer, she encouraged the differently-abled people to cast their vote and arranged wheelchairs and vehicles for the disabled in all constituencies to participate in voting.
Arti Dogra received the National Award in 2019 from President of India, Ram Nath Kovind with Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on the side for her starring performance as the District Election Officer in the Ajmer assembly elections in 2018. She also received the ¡®Daughters are Precious Award¡¯ in Rajasthan.
Aarti Dogra has done a great job during her tenure. Currently, Aarti is a collector of Ajmer, Rajasthan. Prior to this, she has also been posted to the post of SDM Ajmer.
Despite facing discrimination for being 3.5 ft tall, Arti Dogra is an inspiration for millions.
