Adding truth to the whispers, a Twitter post about a juice vendor advertising his YouTube channel on the streets of Bengaluru has gone viral on social media.
Twitter user Keshav Lohia introduced people on the platform to Kumkum Mridha, a juice vendor with nearly 2K subscribers on YouTube. In the post, Lohia shared how he randomly came across the juice seller and revealed how he was surprised to see that the vendor was advertising his YouTube channel through a QR code attached to his roadside stall.?
Lohia wrote, ¡°Yesterday, I had fresh juice from this vendor in Bellandur. What stood out was that he had a ¡°YouTube¡± channel (with 2k subscribers!) along with common barcodes. And he was promoting it - visit my channel! This is peak creator economy and ofc @peakbengaluru.¡±
Folks online were a mixture of confused, surprised, and pleased. One user complimented the seller¡¯s marketing skills, ¡°The way he has visually displayed his product is smart visual merchandising, clean setup, looks hygienic and that's what people want when they have to consume juice from roadside stalls.¡±
Another user was simply in awe, ¡°Always impressed by those who strongly desire to make the best out of whatever they are dealt with.¡±
One shared their own experience of a fateful brush with an auto driver who also operated a YouTube presence, ¡°Was travelling by an auto recently and the auto driver who was a tailor pre covid had a YouTube channel. This youtube channel of his was about tailoring designs and styling with around 20k followers.¡±
One user who¡¯s had juice from the vendor before shared, ¡°He used to give discounts on juice if you are subscribed to his channel. It's been long time had juice here.¡±
Seeing the vendor and his dedication to working two jobs at a time, people were impressed and in awe. Although YouTube is surely a part-time endeavour, it takes time and effort to master. One user fascinated by the vendor¡¯s setup wrote in the comments, ¡°Proper hustle.¡±
