Tugging at our nostalgic heartstrings, this sweet shop in Delhi has gone viral for selling Bournvita barfi! Yes, you read that right!
The chocolate-flavoured barfi is made of dry fruits, ghee, and of course, Bournvita. The fusion mithai was shared on social media by a food vlogging page on Instagram operated by Arjun Chauhan.?
Chauhan posted the 15-second-long clip that shows the preparation for the fusion Bournvita barfi - sugar syrup as a base, the sweet maker adds cashew paste and mixes the two ingredients together. After cooking the paste for a while, he adds the star ingredient - the Bournvita, to the mixture. The concoction is followed by ghee. Then, he adds dry fruits into the mixture and cooks until it starts to take shape. After the cooking is successful, he transfers it into a rectangular dish and lets it dry.?
Sharing the video, the vlogger wrote, ¡°Ever tried Bournvita Barfi?¡±?
He tagged the location of the sweet which is named Shagun Sweets in Maujpur, Delhi.
The video has more than 3 lakh views, and over 15,000 likes. Users took to the comments section to express opinions on the Bournvita barfi. One user wrote, "Dekhne me kaafi sahi hai."
