A 5-year-old girl in Chennai attempted a Guinness World Record this year on Independence Day by shooting? 111 arrows in 13 minutes.
She managed to hit the bull¡¯s eye while being suspended upside down, did so without stopping at all.??
Last year too, Sanjana set a record by shooting 1,111 arrows on a target eight metres away.
Her trainer, Shihan Hussaini, proudly told ANI that, ¡°Sanjana became the first child in the entire world to set a record for shooting 111 arrows in 13 minutes and 12 seconds in the upside-down position. She has set a mindblowing record. We are going to send it to the Guinness Book of World Record for validation.¡±
She set the record at an event in the city where Pramod Chandurkar, Secretary-General of the Archery Association of India was present as the chief guest. Along with him, president of the Delhi Archery Association, Virendra Sachdeva was also there.??
¡°Sanjana will make one record every Independence Day till she is 10 years old after which she will train for the Olympics in the year 2032, bring home several gold medals, and make her country proud," her father told ANI.?

The budding archer's father hopes that in the future his little champ will bring laurels to India through her unique skills.?Sanjana's parents have decided to nurture her interest in archery and are keen on accelerating her potential to be an Olympian in the future.
