The popular fast food brand McDonald's is a household name. From its burgers to the famous 'M' sign made with golden arches, it is extremely popular.
The symbol is unique and easily recognisable and one cannot miss it from anywhere, especially its signature red colour. However, did you know that there is a restaurant's branch situated in USA's Arizona which is unique and stands out for a reason?
Located in Sedona, instead of the golden arches, the 'M' logo is actually turquoise in colour.
Take a look here:
The Sedona branch opened back in 1993 (Oh my, I feel old). The reason behind keeping its colour blue and not the original?colour, the city's councillors decided that the?famed golden-coloured 'M' will take away the beauty of the town. They felt that the sign will overshadow what Sedona has to offer.
The sign was painted turquoise. Now, it is the only one in the world which is blue in colour.
This branch has become a tourist attraction. Lots of locals and influencers flocked to the eatery to click photographs with the sign more than eating the delicious burgers. Many TikTok users even posted videos of them posing with the blue-coloured arches as well.?
