In real life, surely everyone would agree that relationships are much more complex than they often appear on big screens and in movies. There are days when everything appears to be a fairytale, and then there are days when even dystopias would be surprised. And on such a day, a couple was caught on camera wrestling out their differences in public.??
The short clip was posted on Twitter by the page Ghar Ke Kalesh. In the clip, an elderly couple is captured on the side of a busy road. At first, the wife, who looks visibly angry, beats her husband with what looks like a big steel bowl. Although it's not exactly clear in the video, it seems like she just swings the utensil over the man, who is presumed to be her husband.
Soon, the man takes over and takes the utensil from her hands and instead gestures like he would strike a blow at her but does not make contact. The wife, in return, again tries to grab the bowl when the video abruptly ends.?The people on the side of the road gather around and enjoy the drama as not even a single soul tries to interfere in the couple¡¯s argument.
Check out the video below:
On the video, the caption reads, "One day you and me." According to a commenter online, the video is from a market in Malad West, Mumbai. The video garnered varied reactions from the online public. Many were confused and furious about the blatant glorification of violence in a relationship, given the caption on the video, while others thought the video was adorable.
One confused fellow wrote, "Ye sab to thik hai lekin video me one day you and me kyu likha hai."
Another user thought it was the lowest point in a marriage: "its ultimate low in life where once exchanged owes to stand together in thick and thin, unconditional love expected and years down the line, fist fight in full view on public?road?is the most heart break moment. Wish no one goes through this hell."??
"Wese to dahej nhi lena chahiye lekin fir bhi koi jabardasti belen or bartan de jata hai," one joked.? ?
A commenter was curious why the video was played out to the romantic song ¡®Tere Bina¡¯ from the film ¡®Guru¡¯, they pointed out with a bunch of laughing emojis, ¡°Background song.¡±
One user reacted with a meme.
While another said, ¡°This is the marriage you don¡¯t see in KJO movies.¡±
