The cities of North India are being taken over by chilly winds and murky highways. Travelling is difficult for many people in these dangerous weather conditions.?
An incident similar to this recently occurred to a student in Dehradun who was biking to class. However, he was forced to halt his bike and park it in a corner because of the cold. A good Samaritan then intervened to assist the student; here's what happened.?
?A Dehradun event was described by the "Helmet Man of India" while posting photographs to Twitter. He said he had observed a student riding a bike in the cold, continually covering his ears with his hands.?
The man eventually had to put his bike down and halt. Raghvendra provided him with a helmet to keep him warm when he saw him.?
In a tweet, that closely translates to this from Hindi, he wrote, "Due to the cold winds on the roads of Dehradun, a student was repeatedly covering his ears with his hands, then after giving up, he parked the bike on the way. I was shivering due to cold, I had an old helmet lying in my car and put it on while introducing it. Wanted to touch my feet, I hugged him."
Needless to say, the man's efforts went viral as soon as the tweet was posted. Many people on the internet were lauding the good samaritan's efforts. IFS Surender Mehra caught the attention of the man's tweets and wrote, "Good effort," encouraging the man for being a good citizen and helping others.?
?Another man wrote, "Always a role model for all of us."
A man wrote, "Great salute brother! Having helping mind is rare nowadays..."
Another man pointed out, "Helmet ke bina bike chalana he galat hai. Jo ek bike afford kar sakte hain, helmet kyun nahi? . Aapne madad ki, bahut accha kiya."
