Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) soldiers are known for their valour, vigour and determination despite serving at high altitude regions in very tough conditions. A video giving a glimpse into their tough lives is surfacing on social media.?
This video which is now going viral shows the ITBP soldiers playing kabaddi in their spare time in the snow. They can be seen wearing heavy woollen clothing, playing kabaddi in the snow-clad Himalaya mountains in Himachal Pradesh.
This 52-second video which was shared by the official handle of ITBP showed the Himveers playing the sport in teams and two soldiers tackling each other to win.
People on the internet loved seeing the hard-working soldiers taking some time out to have fun. One user said, "Kids play in Mitti,And Itbp ultra legends pro max plays in Mountain snow." Another said,?Lots of love to our hard-working Soldiers. Kabaddi on tough terrain, only ITBP and Army can do this. Jai Hind."

A couple of weeks ago, the North-West Frontier ITBP had hosted the first-ever ice wall climbing competition in Ladakh. Over 100 climbers participated in this event. In a video shared by ITBP, the climbers were seen scaling walls of ice, digging away with their ice axes, and reaching the top.??
Another video had gone viral where ITBP soldiers were training in freezing cold. In the video, the jawans were taking part in a physical drill at minus 25 degrees Celsius while standing knee-deep in snow.
Indo-Tibetan Border Police was raised on October 24, 1962, after the Sino-Indian War with the aim to guard India's borders.
