When there is will, there is a way and no disability can deter a person's determination if they want to make something possible.?
This has been proved by Harshad Gothankar, who has no hands but is extremely adept in playing carrom with his feet. He is being praised on the internet for his determination and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar too has joined the bandwagon.?
The cricketer shared a video of this carom player on Twitter and lauded him. He captioned the video, "The difference between impossible & POSSIBLE lies in one¡¯s determination. Here¡¯s Harshad Gothankar who chose i-m-POSSIBLE as his motto.Love his motivation to find ways to make things possible, something that we can all learn from him.¡±
According to Indian Express, Gothankar is the son of an auto driver and has aced the game of carom. He often tried to play football but failed to maintain balance during the game, was encouraged by a friend to take up carrom. He is 21 years old and wants to play internationally.?
People on Twitter couldn't resist but applaud Harshad's determination and his passion to never give up.?
This kind of persistence is commendable. Another instance of willpower by a differently-abled man won our hearts recently. An ex-army man Laxmikant Shirke who lost his right foot and right hand in an accident broke the world record held by the Australian physically challenged man Javier Stephen's of driving 25,000 km in 2016. He now holds a world record in driving.?
?We must learn from these people to never lose hope no matter how hard times get for us.?
