Monica Geller's apartment from Friends has a special place in our hearts. If there's anything a fan of the hit sitcom will give their right arm for it's getting to stay in the apartment and relive all the best moments from the '90s show. In a reel shared on Instagram recently, the person behind the camera gives a walkthrough of the apartment and it has everything - from the purple door to the blue kitchen countertop, the French movie poster above the TV, an answering machine with pre-recorded messages from Monica and Ross, and so, so much more.?
The apartment is a brilliant replica and the attention to detail, big and small, just makes the whole experience unbelievable. The Airbnb is nostalgia and comfort all rolled into one, and all fans of the sitcom will absolutely love it. The clip opens with a shot of the purple door, and the vlogger then keeping the keys on the kitchen countertop and finally moving to the living area with the huge beige couch, the movie poster above the television, and the answering machine with messages from the original Friends gang.
"This apartment in Brazil is an incredibly accurate replica of Monica Geller's iconic space from the show, down to the smallest details. From the purple walls and mismatched chairs to the vintage kitchen decor and even the picture frame around the peephole, it's all there," the caption reads.
"For any Friends fan, this apartment is a dream come true. A perfect blend of comfort and nostalgia that brings the magic of the show to life in the most authentic way possible."
Curious, we headed to the official Airbnb site to check out the listing, and surprise! It is legit!?
The listing is in Porto Alegre, Brazil. It has two bedrooms, two beds and a bathroom, with enough space to accommodate four guests at one time. It's being hosted by someone named Giovanna who has been in the game for seven years now. This Airbnb is a slightly smaller version of the original apartment on Friends, but the details are so insane, that you'd hardly notice the difference. There's a kitchen for a chef to cook in, purple walls, antique furniture... and... wait for it... many pieces of the Friends clothes for you to recreate the best scenes in.?
Check. Check. Check.
