According to Hindustan Times, when the couple arrived in Varanasi, they became fascinated with the Hindu traditions, temples, ghats, and other religious places in the city. This is when they decided that they wanted to get married again according to Hindu traditions.
As per the priest of Ravi Shankar Giri temple, "The couple is in their 40s and they are already married according to Muslim traditions." But the wife mentioned that her grandfather is a Hindu of Indian origin.
Kiyamah, who owns a farming business, mentioned how he does not regret his decision. He thanked the local priest for performing his wedding rituals. ¡°In fact, I am thankful to the local priest and everyone who helped us realise our dream of getting married as per Hindu tradition,¡± he added.?
According to Hindustan Times, the couple mentioned how the planning for their wedding?started five years ago when they visited Varanasi and loved the customs and traditions there. He said, "Our last Varanasi tour impaired us but still we didn¡¯t think we would be getting married this way. It was only a few days back when we were planning to come to Varanasi that we talked about the marriage and my girlfriend said yes."??
When they arrived in India this time, they decided to get married. They told their guide, Rahul Kumar Dubey, about their plans, and he helped them organise the wedding. "We meet many foreign tourists daily. But when I came to know that the couple wanted to get married as per Hindu traditions and rites and were serious about it, I thought of helping them, "he said.
