'I Type My Name On Google Sometimes For Fun' Says Ranbir Kapoor's Lookalike Nirav Bhatt

Ranbir Kapoor's lookalike Nirav Bhatt

Humans of Bombay, an Instagram page that often shares videos of real life people and their stories, has now shared the story of Nirav Bhatt, who is Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor's lookalike. The video, now viral, features a host of images of Nirav Bhatt from various photoshoots. In the caption, Nirav was quoted as saying,? "I was just 4 when Mumma said, ‘Tu to mera chota Ranbir hai.’ Sachi bolu toh I didn’t even know who she was talking about! But when Mumma showed me his pictures, I loved his hair and smile! I thought, ‘Arre, I do look like him.’ And once, I was at a mall with Mumma and Papa. And suddenly this aunty came to us and said, ‘Aapka beta Ranbir Kapoor jaisa lagta hai.’ She shook my hand and left. My parents just smiled, but mujhe bohat acha laga!"

Nirav modelled for Alia Bhatt's brand?

Nirav got a call from Alia Bhatt's maternity and kidswear brand in June about a photoshoot, for which they went to Dharamshala. After the shoot, when Alia shared pictures of them on their social media handles, people on the internet started noticing the stark resemblance between Nirav and Ranbir.?

Nirav recalled, "Everyone kept calling me ‘Ranbir sir’ on the set. Bohat Mazaa aaya! And a few days later when Alia Bhatt shared the pictures from our shoot on her social media, everyone noticed that I looked like Ranbir. We got SO many messages! People would keep messaging us, so many TV people also talked about me."?

Nirav excitedly shares that he can now Google himself, and sometimes he likes to type his name on Google for fun. He loves to see his pictures on the Internet. He further added, "And, you know, when Brahmastra?was released, more people started talking about me. All my school friends even watched it because of me."?

Nirav also wants to become an actor?

Nirav is currently in school and studying the piano.? But eventually when he grows up, he wants to become an actor too, just like Ranbir Kapoor, he says.?

"I am focusing on my studies and my piano practice. I am learning to play Kesariya on the piano! If I ever get a chance to meet Ranbir, I will perform it for him–I hope he likes it! And when I grow up, I want to become an actor, and I hope everyone will love me just like they love him!" Nirav said.?
