Railway Protection Force is a security force of the Indian Railways andtheir primary goal is to protect the passengers. Over the years, theyhave played a pivotal role in protecting people from freak accidents or any other sort of distress.
More recently, two officials posted at a railway station in Maharashtrasaved a father and son after they jumped off a moving train. The father slipped into the gap between the train and platform and if it wasn't for the RPF personnel, things would've turned out differently.
