The Sikh community has earned much love and praise the world over for the support it offers other communities, support that comes without any hidden agenda. Anytime there's a crisis, Sikhs are among the first ones to come to the aid of those affected.
And in yet another instance that highlights the commendable work they do, a video that surfaced online recently allegedly shows a Sikh man removing his turban to help a person in distress.
The video was shared by Twitter user@hatindersinghr1 who captioned it: ‘Let's Start The Day Praising This Sikh Brother From Meerut, Who When Saw A Rickshaw Driver Met An Accident And Was Bleeding Heavily, He Untied His Turban And Tied On His Wound To Stop The Blood Flow.?Tying His Turban On Wound He Proved Humanity Is Bigger Than Religion’.?
The time and location of the video are not known but going by the caption, the incident took place in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
In the video, one can see the Sikh man using the turban he apparently removed from his head to cover the wound of the injured person.
The injured man, a rickshaw puller, had reportedly met with an accident.
The footage also shows a rickshaw lying by the side of the road and an e-rickshaw standing right in the front of what seems to be the scene of the accident.?Few other people then help carry the rickshaw driver who is clearly not in a state to stand up on his own. While not much else is known at the moment, one thing is clear: a little humanity on your part can save a person's life.

Some members of the community fed the protesters who were marching in outrage against the killing of George Floyd and atrocities against African-Amercians.
“Where we see peaceful protest, we are going,” The New York Times quoted Himmat Singh as saying. Singh is a coordinator at the World Sikh Parliament, an advocacy group providing volunteers for the Queens Village efforts. “We are looking for justice. We support this,” he had said.?
