Amid the raging war between Russia and Ukraine, a video is going viral showing a little girl singing 'Let It Go' in an underground bunker in Kyiv.?
The girl named Amelia performed a more than a minute-long rendition of the song from Disney's popular animated film, Frozen.?
In the clip, Amelia performs a version of 'Let It Go' for people taking shelter in the bunker. Some were seen lying on the floor, while others stand or sit around her.?
The video was first posted to Facebook on Thursday by Marta Smekhova who says she filmed it with permission from the girl's mother.?
"From the first word in the [bomb shelter] came complete silence... everyone put their business aside and listen[ed] to a song by this girl who was just beaming light... even men couldn't hold back the tears," Smekhova wrote.?
This comes at a time when Ukrainian cities are under siege as Russian troops continue to advance to Kyiv.?More than a million civilians have fled?Ukraine?since Russia's invasion, many of whom have taken refuge in neighbouring countries.? ?
The?UN?has said that, as of March 6,?more than 350 civilians have been confirmed killed?and hundreds more have been wounded; UkraineĄ¯s emergency services puts the civilian death toll at?2,000 people as of March 2.?
Ukrainian officials have said about?11,000 Russian troops?have been killed in the fighting, as of March 6, but American and European estimates of Russian casualties have been?substantially lower. The Russian government?has reported nearly 500 soldier deaths.?
