Peddiraju, son of Venkateshwarlu, reached Punjab on Sunday and took his father back. ¡°My father started crying when he saw me. He was missing for two years and we had lost all hopes of meeting him again. I thank the constable who made his TikTok video and I could reach my father,¡± Peddiraju told TOI.?
He borrowed money from his sister to arrange a taxi to bring his father back.?Venkateshwarlu who worked as a labourer, has four children.?
Recently, on May 21, a villager showed the viral TikTok video with 1.8 million views to Venkateshwarlu¡¯s daughter, Kanakadurga, who recognised her father in the video. The local police then contacted Ajaib Singh and collected details of Venkateshwarlu.

Constable, Ajaib Singh, reportedly said, ¡°I had never thought that my TikTok video could lead to reunion of a family after two years. I feel fortunate enough to be the reason of this reunion. A couple of months back, I saw this elderly man begging near Lakkar bridge and gave him food. He used to live under that bridge only.¡±
Turns out, if used correctly TikTok can actually bring happiness and good endings for some.?
