If you have been shopping from e-commerce sites, you know very well that it is nearly impossible to get direct access to a customer care executive to get any issues resolved. One has to go through mostly useless AI chatbots that can only give template answers before getting connected to a human customer care executive to look into the matter.
A Mumbai man took to social media to talk about his recent interaction with Flipkart customer care regarding an undelivered order. But the only problem was that the order was from 2018, which was six years ago. Ahsan Kharbai posted on social media how he was surprised to receive a call from Flipkart asking what issue he was facing.

"After 6 years, Flipkart called me for this order asking me what issue I was facing," Kharbai wrote on X while attaching the screenshot of the Flipkart app showing an order from 2018.
According to the details available on the screenshot, the order for a pair of Sparx Slippers costing Rs 485 was placed on May 16, 2018, and it was shipped three days later on May 19. As per the order, it was supposed to be delivered on May 20, but it still shows as undelivered.
Though it is unclear how and why Flipkart now woke up to the order that has been pending for six years, Kharbai said he had clicked on it a day before, while going through the list of cancelled orders.

While many on social media found it funny and unbelievable, others said that they too had orders that had been pending for years. One person shared a screenshot showing an order from 2015, which is still marked as out for delivery.
