Till now we have witnessed several people sharing heartfelt moments with their loved ones who are quarantined due to the coronavirus outbreak that has put the whole world at risk.
However, in the middle of all of this, we keep getting to see intimate moments between family members and friends who are not letting the quarantine take over their relationships. The latest is this photograph of a young woman showing her engagement ring to her grandfather who is quarantined.?
Carly Boyd wanted to share one of her life's most important news with her grandfather and requested the staff of his nursing facility that she be allowed to see him through his bedroom's window. Her grandfather is a resident at the Premier Living and Rehand Center in Lake Waccamaw whose Facebook page shared the heartfelt pictures on social media.
"I really wanted to be able to tell my grandfather because he has dementia and there's no phone in there that he has access to. I just really wanted to make an effort to tell him," Carly told KOLD News 13.?
The pictures are now viral with 240K likes, 10K comments and more than 170K shares.?
Staff members requested Carly to let them photograph the sweet moment so that the whole world could be witness to the heartfelt exchange between a granddaughter and grandfather during a grim time like this. In fact, the pictures were also captioned with, "Coronavirus didn't stop this granddaughter and grandfather from sharing this happy moment."
People on the internet expressed how heartwarming it was to watch the beautiful exchange.
