For those affected by the COVID-19, the biggestchallenge is to juggle daily tasks while dealing with isolation. Not manyfamilies have help when it comes to managing household tasks, and Nisha Choprafaced the worst of it when her husband tested positive back in April.
Speaking to TOI, Nisha Chopra said that her children had to literally survive on fruits for a few days. The ordeal she went through pushed her to help families affected by COVID-19.
The TOI quoted her as saying, "When I saw my kids struggle for food, I realised there would be so many other families facing the same problem. That's when I decided to do what I could."

According to TOI, the feeling of helplessness spurred NishaChopra to cook and distribute free food for families affected byCOVID-19.
She now has a team of over 10 women who cook every day for at least 100 families, and deliver it to their doorstep for free. The onlything the team asks for in return is to help others in the neighbourhood facingthe same difficulties.
Nisha Chopra's initiative started three months ago. The wordspread and people started reaching out to the group. Chopra was astounded atthe number of phone calls she got everyday.

"We also got a few volunteers who helped with thedistribution of meals but many of them fell ill one after another." Thisforced her to take up the task of collecting food from the volunteers anddelivering it to those in need.
As her team members fell ill, Chopra was forced to stick toSouth Delhi and help people in areas like Sarita Vihar and CR park. But in direcircumstances, she reaches out to those even in places like Noida with food oncea day.
Chopra who runs an NGO in Faridabad, said that her main aim is to help the elderly and children.?
Hats off to people like Nisha Chopra who have derived the motivation to help others, from their own struggle.
