Notably, this would mark the reunion of two actors after eight years, as they have previously starred in Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, where Woo Seok played the role of IU's unfaithful boyfriend.

Byeon Woo Seok's journey in showbiz began in 2010 as a model, before transitioning to acting in 2016 with a role in tvN's Dear My Friends. He gained further recognition in 2019 as a lead cast member in JTBC's Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency.

The actor has also appeared in Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo and??Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. He played a pivotal role in Park Bo Gum and Park So Dam starrer Record of Youth; however, it was his grey character Ryu Shi O in Strong Girl Nam Soon that helped him carve a dedicated fanbase.
