Finding a job is not as easy it used to be and people receive rejection letters on a daily basis. Dependable recruiters are hard to find, and this person had an innovative idea to fix this problem.?
Twitter user Aman Khandelwal decided to get an employer's attention by dressing up as a Zomato delivery executive and delivered his resume in a box of pastries to startups in Bengaluru.?
He shared a photo of the food box and himself wearing a Zomato T-shirt. The box of pastries had the message, "Most of the resumes end up in trash. But mine in your belly," written on it.?
"Dressed as a @zomato delivery boy I delivered my resume in a box of pastry. Delivered it to a bunch of startups in Bengaluru. Is this a @peakbengaluru moment," Khandelwal wrote as the caption of the post.
According to reports, Khandelwal is looking for a job as a management trainee. However, his posing as a Zomato delivery executive is making people question safety standards.?
"Is it just me who finds this absolutely cringe and crazy? Is it that easy to masquerade as a delivery boy from Zomato/Swiggy? Imagine the safety implications here," wrote one user.?
"Point is not that he went to start ups and there is no security there. Lack of security is not a valid reason for anyone to abuse. The fact that this could be replicated and violated an inherent sense of privacy and safety is the point," another commented.?
Zomato has not commented on the incident till now. However, an old tweet by Dunzo revealed that Khandelwad had done this before as well. Other Twitter users pointed out that this template is not an original idea, and someone from the US did the same with donuts in the US.
