Flowers, leaves, and other organic offerings at temples have way too much religious significance and disposal often becomes a problem. To tackle this problem, two engineering graduates of Silver Oak Engineering College decided to design a machine that processes flowers into organic manure.?
According to a report in The Times of India, Yash Bhatt and Arjun have kick-started a pilot project, in association with the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, to collect over 300 kg of organic waste from temples and churn it into 100 kg of manure every day.
