BIG congratulations are in order for newlyweds Huang Zitao aka Tao (formerly of EXO fame) and Xu Yiyang (ex-SM Entertainment trainee)! The couple announced their marriage on December 2, sharing marriage certificates and adorable selfies, and fans can't handle the cuteness!

On December 2nd, the former EXO heartthrob revealed he's officially off the market, announcing his marriage to the love of his life, Yiyang.?Tao dropped the bombshell news on the Chinese social media platform Weibo.?

Yiyang, 27, said in her post: "I want to have a relationship with marriage as the goal." Returning the love and excitement, Tao wrote: "Goal achieved." Dressed in all-white attires, the couple is seen holding their Chinese marriage certificates (buzheng) in the now-viral pictures.

Huang Zitao (aka Tao) had fans thinking he'd be walking down the aisle in 2025, but he just dropped the happy news, sparking a wave of excitement among fans.?

"Just two coworkers, finally getting married!!! Ahhh congrats!!! They’re actually so cute," one fan wrote on Reddit.

Another fan mentioned, "Wow they announced their relationship just this year right? Seems like they announced as things got really serious and now they are married. Such a gorgeous couple! Congratulations!

Zitao and Yiyang's love story

Zitao and Yiyang's whirlwind romance began when the former pop star proposed to Yiyang on the Chinese variety show Dare or Not back in August.

The couple went official in July this year, confirming their relationship with a sweet video on Doyuin.

Tao originally debuted as a member of the boyband EXO in 2012. He shocked his fandom with his departure in 2015. He is currently active in China.

Xu Yiyang, more popularly known as Yiyang, is a former SM Rookies member. She debuted in China in 2019 as part of the group Legal High. She has also played lead roles in C-dramas Timeless Love and New Vanity Fair.
