Fans of Kim Sae Ron are getting a bittersweet chance to see her shine one last time. Her final project, Guitar Man, has just released an emotional OST titled The World Without Pain, and with it, a glimpse of the actress in her final on-screen role.
The Guitar Man soundtrack, A World Without Pain, was crafted by Lee Sun Jung, who also co-directed and produced the film. The movie follows a gifted guitarist joining the underground band Volcano and navigating complex relationships with the female lead, Yoo Jin, played by the talented Kim Sae Ron.
The recently released music video for the song is a moving tribute to resilience and quiet suffering, about carrying on even when things feel unbearable. As the song plays, scenes of Kim Sae Ron in character unfold, making the release all the more heartfelt.
For those who didn¡¯t know, Kim Sae Ron passed away earlier this year on February 16, at just 24 years old. She had wrapped filming for Guitar Man before her death, and the team behind the movie has been slowly sharing updates since, hoping to honour her work and memory in the right way amid the ongoing scandal about her past underage relationship with Kim Soo Hyun.
The release of The World Without Pain has stirred strong emotions among fans, many of whom took to social media to express their grief and love for Kim Sae Ron.
One fan wrote, "Kim Saeron will live forever through her films and series. She was a tremendous actress."
