One of the major reasons vape became the rage it is today, is that it comes in a variety of flavors. If you've ever been to a vape store in search of e-cigarette juice, then you already know the choices are pretty much endless. There are common flavors like tobacco, kiwi, and cherry, as well as more interesting flavors like banana pudding and even aloe vera.?
A study published in the journal, Frontiers in Physiology, provides a list of vape flavors?that are considered way more harmful than others. Here¡¯s the list of flavors?that you should avoid at all costs, according to science.
Vanilla tops the list because it contains the flavoring chemical vanilla, which can be harmful when inhaled. This was revealed in a study called?Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology,?published in the American Heart Association's journal, which showed that vanilla flavour of vape juice can impair blood vessel function, which is an early indicator of heart damage.

The aforementioned study from the American Heart Association, also had findings where researchers tested to see the short-term effects on endothelial cells by exposing cells to various flavor for 90 minutes. Strawberry flavoring had the most adverse effects on the cells which caused cell death even at lower levels.
Cinnamon was listed in a study published in the journal Frontiers in Physiology as one of the most toxic vaping flavors. And, according to WebMD, the cinnamon flavoring can even impair the ability of the lungs to get rid of mucus.
Most people have come to believe that e-cigarettes are harmless but constant research and analysis on the health use of e-cigarettes shows that e-cigs pose substantial risks. Of course, more research needs to be done to understand the full impact these devices have on our health. But, for the time being, it seems safe to say that it's probably a bad idea to pick up e-cigarettes as a new habit, no matter how trendy they might seem, especially, with their endless flavor?offerings.
