In a shocking incident, a man ordered three products from Amazon worth Rs 43,801, which included a camera, but he ended up receiving a package with the camera missing from it.?
The man who goes by Shubham 2.0, who ordered the items on Amazon, shared a post on his X (formerly called Twitter), saying that he was 'never ordering from Amazon again.'. He also shared the details on the post that he placed orders for the GoPro Hero 13 Special Bundle (?39,990), Syvro S11 tripod (?999), and Telesen ND Filters (?2812).
However, all three products were shipped together, but when the package arrived at his society's guard when he received it, he found the entire GoPro was missing.?
Following the incident, the man instantly called Amazon's customer care and informed them about the same. He was told by the executive that he would receive a resolution by February 4, 2025.?
Shockingly, when he followed up with them about the product again, the customer care executives told him that they could do nothing about it further.?
Further, Shubham also pointed out that the packaging of the product looked suspicious and the package was definitely tampered with. However, the sticker on the parcel mentioned its weight as 1.28 kg, but when he received the parcel, it weighed only 650 grams; hence, the GoPro clearly went missing from the package, Shubham claimed.
The man tagged Amazon on the post and urged them to take action against this mishap.?
After going through the posts on social media, one X user suggested calling their customer support and telling them about your social media reach, 'I tried this once, and it worked. Get on a call with them.'
While another wrote, "Ya bro something like this was going to happen with me to 1st when i placed the complain their customer service told me ur complain has been placed and not to call them again regarding the same complain coz if i do that the process has to start again and it may take more time."
