They can make a dent in your pocket, but there is no doubt Apple products are worth every penny. Apple has become one of the most trusted brands in the world, and millions of users are a testament to that fact.
Much like its other products, the Apple Watch is a big hit with people. From health and fitness to alerting you of new messages and calls, the Cupertino-based company's watches serve as an extension of your iPhone.
While it is common knowledge that the Apple Watch tracks your vitals and keeps a check on your health progress, did you know it can also predict a ¡®loud environment¡¯ inside a home? Yes, that's right.
Recently, a woman named Kelsey Farish got a notification on her Apple Watch that warned her of a ¡®loud environment¡¯ around her.?
The notification on her watch read: "Loud environment: sound levels hit 90 decibels. Around 30 minutes at this level can trigger temporary hearing loss."
"Thanks for the push notification,?Siri ¨C that¡¯s exactly what I needed in that moment," she wrote.
What exactly did the watch detect? It appears that the Apple Watch detected the baby¡¯s crying in the background and forwarded the information to the watch¡¯s owner.
Farish shared a picture of the notification she got as her son Hugo was seen crying in the background.? ?
In the comments section, she added, "Things that are 90dB: lawnmowers, blenders, power tools, Hugo when he wakes up from a nap and SUDDENLY REALISES HE IS SO HUNGRYYYYYAAAAAHHHHHHH."?
The post has been retweeted more than 13,000 times, and drew over 188k likes. People, especially parents, related to the post.
"Haha! We¡¯ve got a 5 year old and 1 year old and every day, at about 6pm - in the middle of dinnertime chaos - our?Apple Watches like to say "hey¡ take a moment¡ take a breath¡ relaxxxx". Yeah cheers Siri, will do!" a user commented.?
"Having an Apple Watch is like carrying around you constantly nagging Mother-in-Law," another user joked.?
