ZPod, India's first fully autonomous car, was revealed just a month ago by a Bengaluru-based start-up business. The testing of the new model appears to have begun in earnest. Have a look.
A video of a futuristic car driving freely on the streets of Bengaluru recently startled social media users. It is reported that the driverless car moved on its own without any human assistance.?
A spectator who came upon the futuristic model while driving their own four-wheeler captured footage of the incident. The driverless automobile is seen gently passing other vehicles on the road in the video.
As the clip abruptly ends, the new model is seen continuing its speed behind a?scooter. "On the streets of Bengaluru," reads the video's caption.
With over fourteen thousand views, the video quickly went viral on Twitter. While some dubbed it the "Indian?cyber truck," many were curious about the vehicle and the premise it operates on. "Building the future of Indian transport is fantastic," one user said. Here's what others thought of the vehicle:
If this is the same vehicle designed by Minus Zero, ZPod should not have a steering wheel. A network of strategically placed high-resolution cameras allows the car to drive itself.?
One of Minus Zero's co-founders, Gursimran Singh, told News 18: "Basically, this is the first concept vehicle launched in India, so that we can elaborate on how AI can change the future." This vehicle is based on our founder's nature-inspired AI, which we feel is the best method to emulate the human mind in the AI paradigm.?
This vehicle can currently perform all of the manoeuvres that a normal human can perform in a campus environment, and there are numerous other things that it can do and learn over time to provide a safe and healthy ride in the future." Notably, the car's technology is based on cameras that capture real-time visuals, which are then processed by AI software to make rapid navigation decisions.?
